Over 28 Years of Pneumatic Experience

Here at Airlane, we have amassed a wealth of knowledge of pneumatic systems and engineering over our almost 30 year career. We wanted to share the knowledge in the best way possible with as many people as we could. Hence, a Foundation in Pneumatics was born.

Most engineering training courses are generic, covering topics not just relating to pneumatics. Therefore, we feel students don’t get a full understanding of what pneumatics is and the different processes available. This can lead to many different Health and Safety related issues, and can cost businesses greatly.

Our course includes safety considerations to give practical advice and experience-led solutions and answers to common issues or misunderstood principles. We are currently in the process of getting college certified.

Building a Unique Pneumatic Training Course

During the first stages of developing our pneumatic training course, we sought initial input from an external consultant. This helped us understand everything we already had written and brought it all together into one place. We then discussed and planned the direction we wanted to take to make this course unique to us, by including things that aren’t found in other pneumatic training courses.

We had some much information and advice that we wanted to share, the course kept getting longer and longer and the training manual thicker and thicker! Eventually, we decided to strip down and rewrite everything, to ensure that only the key information was included in the course. This way, we didn’t bombard people with too much unnecessary information. It was important for us to make the course as simple yet informative as possible.

Our helpful ‘Hints and Tips’ are scattered throughout the course and it’s accompanying manual, giving learners practical advice not found anywhere else.

What Does the Course Contain?

Our new training course covers topics such as; what is compressed air, why do we use compressed air, compressed air generation, basic circuit design and lots more! Improve the welfare of your operators and engineers by improving their knowledge of pneumatics and compressed air safety.

By training with the Airlane Foundation in Pneumatics, you will be benefitting from both production and business improvements. Our course includes training notes, certificate of attendance, lunch & teas/coffees. All our training is held in our offices at Sunderland.
