Air Fuses
A pneumatic air fuse is used to stop airline whip when a hose is severed accidentally. This helps stop injury from flailing hoses by reducing the air flow.
Legislation Reference: ISO 4414:2010 (E) 5.4.5.11.1
Application: Cuts off the air flows through a ruptured hose to prevent hose whipping injuries.
Airlane Example: Installed in Alcan workshops after forklift truck severed airline trailing the floor narrowly avoiding operator injury with flailing hose.
