Component Repair, Service and RemanufactureAt Airlane we believe that expensive items can be cost effectively repaired or serviced to prolong their operational life and reduce scrap waste normally sent to landfill. Pneumatic cylinders can have new seals, barrels, tie rods or piston rod assemblies fitted to bring them back up to standard. Valves are fitted with new spool seals. Both are leak tested and function tested here in our workshops. Air tools are notoriously badly treated. Damp or poor quality air is left to corrode the inner bearings and gears of the air tool rendering them unusable. Please use clean and lubricated air first to save money on repair or replacement tools. Again, expensive tools can be stripped down, assessed and, where possible, repaired back to full working order by cleaning and / or replacing damaged internal components. |

Circuit DesignPneumatic control has many benefits including being suitable for hazardous areas, using only one utility (compressed air) and has many logic options including timers, counters etc. Airlane are leading specialists in pneumatic logic control from simple push/pull circuits to complex 3 and 4 group logic cascade circuits. |

Bespoke PartsMany machines are now decades old and have components fitted that are now obsolete. The Airlane solution is to select the closest modern day component to fit the application and then design in-house bespoke mountings or fixtures that match up accurately with the old machine fixings. This allows for minimum machine downtime and modern easily sourced parts being fitted to your machine, ensuring continued production. |

Control PanelsOnce the logic control circuit has been designed why not let Airlane build the circuit into its own enclosure / control panel? We believe in keeping things simple by ensuring tubing can be easily traced and components are simple to remove and replace. We achieve this by ensuring tubing is generally colour-coded for ease of identification and all component fixtures are drilled and tapped onto the main mounting plate. A control circuit diagram is included to help explain and understand the logic circuit. We mount the air preparation unit outside of the panel, connect directly to push-in bulkhead fittings and take all exhaust air out of the panel to reduce noise and keep the interior as clean as possible. |
