Pneumatic control has a number of benefits including using only one utility (Compressed Air) and being suitable for use in hazardous areas. Airlane can supply new products with full ATEX approval. Circuits can be simple manual operation of a single actuator or highly complex 3 & 4 group cascade systems with multiple actuators operating a very robust and highly repeatable automated cycle.
Component Design Older components are being replaced with smaller units. If this unit does not fit into your existing application then we can design a new, bespoke, mounting to fit directly to your machine without having to do any work on the machine yourselves. Just remove the old cylinder and mount and fit the new unit directly into the existing envelope onto the same mounting holes. 
The drawing above was manufactured and fitted to a modern cylinder to allow it to replace an obsolete unit without having to alter the existing machine it was fitted to.
Bespoke Part Design. The part shown below is an Adjustable Granular suction box. Airlane were asked to design and manufacture several units pending trials of a prototype unit. The prototype was very successful and, following some minor cosmetic changes, we supplied several more units to our customer.

The above semi-automatic machine sprays the internal surface of the customers' product. The machine was supplied with fully interlocked guards, ATEX approval and CE Marked.
The above Fatigue Test Machine was designed to simulate the working life of a hose and coupling assembly and check for undue signs of fatigue and stress.
